Seattle, WA

Chad is away for two weeks with the Navy, so Alivia and I decided last minute to take off for a week to see Adam and Kacie in WA. We had such a great time, plus the weather was in between 55-75 degrees, a nice break from the Houston heat. We played at their beautiful parks, went to the zoo, walked trails, ate at one of the many waterfronts, went shopping, and had a blast. Alivia and I highly recommend Seattle in June and are even more excited about our new baby cousin coming in August. Alivia did well despite the large time change and molars that all seemed to come in this week, she even got to try out some new jackets and jeans that we don't wear down here. Thanks again Kacie and Adam!

Park City

This last weekend I had a quick trip up to Park City, UT to officiate girls lacrosse. It was a blast, and sooooo beautiful. We stayed at a nice resort, got to check out main street, the Olympic training center, and run around in the cool air. Oh, we can't forget going to the great outlet mall where we spent our earnings, literally- hehe.

We went from 100 degrees to 60-50s, crazy, but nice. All in all it was a great, quick trip.

Last Sunday night Tate got his Eagle award for scouts, Congrats Tate, awesome job!

One year pictures

My friend Lindsay came into town from Utah to shoot a wedding and she took a few pictures of Alivia for her birthday. The pictures look great and Alivia was such a trooper to be so beautiful and in a good mood at four in the afternoon in 95 degree weather. Thanks Lindsay!

Haley's Kingwood High School Graduation

Haley graduated for Kingwood HS on Sat., so we all went down to Reliant Center and watched her walk across the stage, exciting. The ceremony lasted a little long for poor Alivia, but we had a good time anyway.

Congrats Haley, we are proud of you, good luck at BYU you'll do great!

Party week

We have had all six of my siblings in town this last week for Alivia's birthday and my sister's HS graduation. We had a baby shower for Kacie, who is having a boy at the end of Aug., played in the pool, and just plain had lots of fun with all of Alivia's crazy aunts.

Alivia's Birthday BBQ

We had a BBQ for Alivia's first birthday with a few friends and lots of family. It turned out to be a great day except that Alivia wasn't feeling so well from her twelve month shots the day before, she didn't touch her cake. We had a baby waterslide and pool, and rockband for the adult, plus lots of food. It was an awesome party for an awesome baby!
